Six things to clarify before sourcing: from your floor plan and budget to delivery conditions.

Six things to clarify before sourcing: from your floor plan and budget to delivery conditions.
Start with how you live
Gather the floor plan, household routines and furniture you intend to keep. Identify essential functions such as hosting, reading, pets or flexible working. Priorities grounded in use make selection more focused.
Make the budget comparable
Discuss furniture configuration, freight, insurance, destination costs and installation separately. Quotations are only comparable when their scope matches. The service provider should confirm taxes and delivery responsibilities for the actual order.
Check access before ordering
Lift dimensions, stair turns, door openings and building schedules affect access. For large modules, verify packed dimensions, assembly methods and protection requirements before the order is confirmed.
Put the specification in writing
Confirm brand, collection, module codes, orientation, upholstery codes, colours and dimensions in one schedule. Visuals communicate atmosphere; the specification defines what will be supplied. Cross-check the two.
